Description

This isn’t a physical unit but rather a computer program that will apply Dolby B or C to a digital audio file that has been transferred from a Dolbyized tape.  Like an outboard NR unit it has to be calibrated, but there is a routine for faking calibration if you don’t have a reference tone.  Most Barclay-Crocker tapes have reference tones on them;  the tone on the digital transfer can be used to calibrate the program. I find this useful because I like to transfer tapes to digital at half speed, and an outboard unit is useless in this case.  Can be used for recording or playback.
