Company Description

Founded in 1926 in Stockholm Sweden, Dux Telefon- och Radiofabriks AB or Dux as they were branded were primarily a radio manufacturer. The company was sold to Phillips in 1934. The last production was in 1979. Earlier Dux tape recorders look to be made by them but transitioned to rebranded Phillips machines in the 1960s. They also produced cassette tape recorders in the 1970s, more than likely, rebranded Phillips.
