The Volga Electric Mechanical Plant produced a limited range of tape recorders that appear to have not been high fidelity related and more about voice recording over telephone. Perhaps telephone conversations in the early 1990s were never too revealing.

They produced interesting modern -looking tape recorders likely for the Russian market alone.
