This is the first and possibly the only tape recorder manufacturer In Canada. Utah Electronics, located in Longueuil, near Montréal, likely had a short tape recorder production in the 1950’s making tube based tape recorders and who knows what else? Strange choice of name given the fact that there was already a Utah electronics in Huntingdon, Indiana that made speakers.
