Geloso G-255
Vintage barn find. 800 ,OBO. Geloso G-255 tape unit. Original leather case not great shape. Unit was powered on slowly with a voltage increaser. All actions function. One drive belt needs replaced. The other functions operate off of friction wheels. Each of which has a dent spot from sitting many years. The green signal light functions. Unit is from 1956. The remote microphone is untested. I will answer all questions I can.also have more photos if interested.

Description
Designed and promoted primarily as a dictation recorder, the half-track mono G-255 was nevertheless capable of reasonable music reproduction at its higher speed of 3¾ ips.
Two versions were made, the conventional G255-S (with speeds of 3¾ and 1 7/8 ips) designed for general use, and the G255-U which had the unusual speed combinations of 1 7/8 ips (4.75 cm/s) and 5.5 cm/s – this slightly higher speed was intended for the recording of dictation with the ability to then slow it down by 15%, enabling more accurate transcription.
