Gramma had this in her attic. Don't know if value I put on this is fair or not. Pictures show everything that was in the case. I plugged it in and tried controls...nothing turned but the heads did move a little. If you all could tell me the best thing to do with this, I'd appreciate the advice. Just lloking to get gramma alittle gambling money. Thanks, Jim Baran MKE, WI

Description

Both the 2718 and 2719 Viscounts were half-track mono recorders with a single motor performing all transport functions. The only difference between the two models was that the 2719 featured remote control operation, other that this they were identical in all respects.

Two recording speeds were available, 3¾ and 7½ ips. A cathode-ray recording level indicator and a three-digit
“Veeder Root” type tape counter were also included. Controls consisted of a combined volume – On/Off switch. combined tone – monitor On/Off switch. master record-playback control which included fast forward and rewind. tape speed selector and edit/instant pause button. An unusual feature of this recorder was that
the head assembly combined the record/play/erase heads all in the one enclosed circular unit.
