Description

Highly similar to the Telefunken 85 series, the Magnetophon 85 was a two speed, single motor, two head twin track mono recorder with a maximum reel size of 7 inches (18cm).
This machine was a based on the Magnetophon 75 but had the higher speeds of 7½ and 3¾ ips and a 7″ reel size (compared to the 5¾” reel of the 75).
Other improvements were the addition of a second internal speaker and a push-pull output stage.
