Description
Featured in the 1969 Allied
Radio Corp catalogue, the TD-1070 was described as “… a sensational
all-new automatic-reverse stereo tape deck which records and plays in
both directions….”
This was a four-track stereo machine taking
7″ reels and offering three speeds: 7½ , 3¾ and 1
ips. Two “edge” VU meters were provided for record level
indication and solenoid transport controls were incorporated.
