Additional Details
Description
A stereo tape deck, available in either half or quarter-track versions. The Deluxe model featured half
track record /playback plus an extra playback head for quarter-track playback.
Launched together with the Beocord 2000 de luxe (in 1965) as a cheaper alternative to the 2000 if you didn’t need the amplifier and mixer. However, it wasn’t much of a success – primarily because it was only about 20%
cheaper than the impressive 2000 but without all the ‘goodies’.
