Description

A fully solid-state, auto-reverse
stereo tape recorder featuring auto tape loading, auto reversible head
assembly, auto head degaussing and auto shut-off.
This was a four speed, quarter-track stereo machine with one master control
directing all tape movement.
An “Autoload Air transport” system attached the tape to the
take-up reel automatically with a big “sucking” sound.
Many manufacturers were making auto reverse recorders but this one “flipped”
the entire head assembly upside down!
Other features included tape-lifters for fast wind, “sound with
sound”, pause control and the unusually low speed of 15/16 ips

Additional Info

Speaker(s): two 8″ x 4″ oval speakers / Dimensions: 15½ x 11 x 6¾ ” (391 x 301.5 x 171.5 mm) / quarter-track stereo
