Description
The Bell ‘Sound’ RT-204 was a half-track mono recorder with a maximum reel size of seven inches. Three motors were used in the transport and two jacks were supplied to permit the use of an external speaker or amplifier.
A 5¼” round P.M. speaker was fitted and the unit utilized four valves (tubes). A single unit play/record/erase head was employed.
