Description

From Allied Radio’s 1959 catalogue.
The Bell 200 range comprised several tape-decks and recorders of different configurations, all utilizing the basic T-200 transport with push-button controls.
The Bell T-218 deck offered two tape speeds, 3¾ and 7½ ips. Other features included DC dynamic braking, three 4-pole motors for direct drive, beltless and pulley-less operation and automatic tape shut-off. Controls consisted of speed change, play, record, rewind, fast forward, stop and on/off switch.
