Description

The Mk IV “Tape Transcriptor” was, by the late 1950s, a very popular unit with enthusiasts and manufacturers.

Many small 1950s tape recorder companies used it in conjunction with their in-house electronics to produce their own integrated tape recorder units, companies such Magnafon, Elizabethan, REPS, Sound, Sovereign, Sonomag
and Wyndsor to name but a few.
