Description

The Concord MkIII deck boasted a hysteresis-synchronous motor for ‘Perfect Pitch’.
Other features included three ferrite heads, flutter filter, tape tension arm, automatic shut-off, automatic tape lifters, source/monitoring, sound-on-sound, echo, dynamic range expander and flip up head cover for easy access.
The accompanying test report gives a thorough description and critique of the equipment.
Price when new was $249.79
A dual-capstan drive auto-reverse version called the MkIV was also available for $299.79. It had all of the features of the MkIII.
