Description
The Ferguson 3238 was a
three-speed, quarter-track mono recorder with a 7″ reel capacity and all-solid state circuitry. The heart of the 3238 was parent company Thorn’s very successful 1965 DC43 tape deck which had piano keys set to the right hand side of the deck and amplifier controls to the left.
The same DC43 deck was used on the stereo 3232.
The 3238 was housed in a black leather cloth cabinet and a teak veneered speaker grill which housed the single 5″ x 3″ speaker.
