Description

The Fidelity Playmaster Major recorder had been available in either half-track or four-track configuration
for several years. This was the transistorised version, new for 1965.
Utilising a single speed (3¾ ips) BSR deck with simple joystick control, up to 5¾-inch reels could be accommodated. A tape position indicator was fitted to the four track model (4TR) and available as an optional extra on the two track unit (2TR).
