Description
The TK40 was a quarter-track mono recorder with three speeds and a 7″ reel capacity. Features included tape inching, Cine-socket, built-in tape cleaner, automatic stop, remote control, mixing facilities, synchronous recordings and superimposition (sound-on-sound).
Output through the internal mono amplifier was 2.5 watts. With the addition of an external amplifier and speaker, stereo playback of pre-recorded tapes could be achieved.
