Description
The TK20 is a half-track mono recorder with a single motor, 2 heads and a maximum reel size of 5¾”. Physically, it’s identical to its quarter- track brother, the TK 24. Transport functionality is controlled by the left hand rotary knob (clock-wise selecting rewind, stop, play, record and fast forward). There’s a built-in safety record lock by which recording will only be permitted when one of the three input selector buttons on the right hand side of the machine are pressed simultaneously with the record mode being selected.The knob on the left controls volume, tone, speaker on/off switch and mains power. A three digit tape counter, magic eye level control and track selector (on the TK24) complete the physical layout of the machine’s various controls and indicators.
