Description

The Austrian-made Diola – WM4100BT/00 was a clone of the Philips EL 3585, made under license by Hornyphon.
It was a battery-powered recorder, half-track mono with a single speed of 1 ips and a 4″ spool capacity.
A transparent lid protected the tape while still leaving the controls accessible. (Reel size was reduced to 3″ with lid closed).
Price when new (in Austria) was 2,180 schillings which included the Philips microphone, empty spool, reel of tape and radio lead.
