Description

This was my first ever reel to reel. My grandfather gave it to my brother and I in 1965 (no idea how he came
to have it here in Australia!) and it needed a 240v to 110v step-down transformer.  We had endless hours of fun recording Top 40 tunes off the radio and using it as a PA amplifier for our first band. I can still remember the warm orange-pink glow from the 2 level indicators (normal and overload) just above the right-hand side volume control.
