Description

First introduced in 1950, the Series C recorder was a precision portable

an optional power unit (P.U.4).
7 or 9½” spools could be used and the unit came in two ‘convenient’
cases.
At left is the 1956 model C-621P, consisting of the mechanical c-6 unit
and the Type 21 mixer/amplifier unit.
Other options included fully equalised off-tape monitoring, audio test
