Description

Manufactured by the Belgian company ACEC, (Ateliers de Constructions Electriques de Charleroi), the 1963 Lugavox 1167 was a quarter-track mono recorder (stereo playback was possible with an external amplifier and speaker).
Four speeds were provided, two for speech (15/16 and 1ips) and two for ‘Hi-Fi’ (3¾ and 7½ ips).
Drive was via a single Papst motor and reels of up to 7″ (18cm) could be accommodated.
