“… A new Masco model 500 tape recorder has been announced. This model has a frequency response of 50 to 12kHz 3db, a maximum reel size of 7″ and weighs 23lbs (10.5kg).
It also features dual speed, dual track, single shift knob, twin neon recording level indicators, positive braking action and instantaneous changeover from fast forward to fast rewind.
Finished in an ivory and gold decor with a luggage-type leatherette covering
of DuPont Fabrikoid, the Masco 500 comes with an empty take-up reel, a
7″ reel with 600ft of tape, a ceramic microphone, a 10 ft power cable
and a patch cord ….”
