“… The Mark Simpson Mfg. Co, 32-38 49th Street Long Island City
3, N.Y., has announced the Masco Series 53 recorder.
The recorder is equipped with two motors and has dual speeds of 7½
and 3¾ ips. Frequency response is 80 – 8,500Hz 3db
at 7½ ips and 80 – 5kHz at 3¾ ips.
Power output is 5 watts to internal or external speaker. The case is
finished in maroon leatherette and reels store inside the lid.
Press to record button prevents accidental erasure. Automatic amplifier
equalisation is provided for both speeds.
