Description
This
was a half-track monaural recorder with two speeds: 7½ ips and 3¾
ips.
A single motor provided the action for all functions
and the unit had two heads, an erase and combined record/play.
The audio section boasted a meager contingent
of three valves, one diode and a single rectifier with a 4″ x 6″
elliptical speaker built into the front of the case.
A very small VU meter was situated above the
volume control and the unit had inputs for mic and radio plus an extension
speaker output.
