Description

The MR-120 was a well-styled battery & mains operated half-track mono recorder with a maximum reel capacity of 5″.
It had two speeds: 3¾ and 1 ips and, for a battery portable, quite a powerful output – 2.5 watts maximum on mains power (1.8 watts battery) into the internal 6¼ . x 3¼ . inch elliptical speaker.
Features included a three position ‘mood’ switch for popular, classical and speech tone settings, automatic or meter level control, remote control switch on microphone, external speaker socket, radio input socket, and mixing of inputs (no individual level control).
Price when new in the UK was £49 19s 6d including VAT.
