A quarter-track mono version of the TC-106, this recorder
featured three speeds (7½ , 3¾ and 1
ips) and a 7″ reel capacity.
Special features included automatic recording level, wood cabinet, auto shut-off and fully solid-state circuitry.
An internal amplifier provided 4 watts of audio output using the internal 4 x 6-inch speaker and 8 watts using an 8Ω external speaker.
Priced in the UK at £68.15s complete with dynamic microphone, demo tape, 5″ empty reel, head cleaner ribbon and motor pulley (for 60Hz power supplies).
