Description

The A41 Sound Riviera was launched in the spring of 1961 and was based on the BSR Monardeck. It was available in both half-track (A41) and quarter track versions (A42 de Luxe).
The BSR Monardeck had a single speed of 3¾ ips and a maximum reel capacity of 5¾ inches. Later versions of the Riviera used the three-speed Collaro Studio deck with a spool capacity of 7″ (models A43 & A44).
Features included a magic eye record level indicator, single tone control, monitoring, crystal mic (supplied) and an extension speaker output (15Ω).
