Description

The 504 was a compact twin-track mono recorder with two speeds (3¾ & 1 7/8 ips) and a seven-inch spool capacity. It was identical to the 604 but with a built-in MW and LW AM radio tuner.
Attractively styled in two-tone gray, the 404 featured a four-tube circuit (including an EM84 magic eye) with a 2.5 watt output.  The tuner section used three transistors. Wow and flutter was less than 0.3%. Price when new was 3380 Austrian schillings.
