Description
An impressive machine with crossfield head recording system, three speeds, twin 15 watt power amplifiers,
photo-electric auto-stop, 2 x peak reading VU meters and a magnetic pick-up preamplifier for recording directly from a turntable. The most comprehensive of the Tandberg tape recorder 1973/74 range. A total of four were fitted, separate record and playback, erase and the crossfield bias head.
The 3400X was available in two or four track versions and available in deck-only version (3300X) which had no amplifiers or playback tone controls.
