The Tapak is one of the few wind up motor US made machines. It had no speaker , just a phone jack. A window on the machine was for the factory supplied penlight to determine tape length. The head was made by Brush. I was contacted about 20 years ago by a person in Germany who was writing a book on wind up machines and I believe the supplied photo is my machine.
