Description

Tape-Athon a company that specialized in background music systems also marketed this 900 primarily to radio stations and it was described as a professional recorder/reproducer. Available in 2, 4 and 8 track, it apparently could also be ordered with automatic reverse. It looks to be in early 1960s machine and the prices started at $1200 depending on what specification you wanted.
They also offered variation on the same transport as a station logger with speeds of 1 7/8 , 15/16 and 15/32 for up to 400 hours of recording time on a 10.5 inch reel .
