Description
The Tascam 3030 was intended for the semiprofessional market, but was essentially the same as the consumer version Teac X-2000M, but featured additional XLR input/outputs. Based on the track record of the 2000, the 3030 was not robust enough for regular studio use. If you own an X series Teac or a 3030, you may want to read the Service Considerations detail on capstan motor issues. Not surprisingly, very few of these were sold so it’s a rare bird these days.
