The Teac A-7030 is a unique tape recorder for its time as it had a separate AR 70 Record playback preamplifier which allows it to be easily connected to a Modern day tape head preamplifier.
An A-7030 Mk. IV Version was also produced in Japan.

Bought 1972. Used as semi-pro recorder recording jazz, folk, chamber music in early 70's Donated to Sea Cliff Chamber Players founder in 1992. They just sold it. A workhorse .... not as good as the Crowns in the day, but damn close. Tascam by pro name.
