Description
The Magnetophon 2000 Hi Fi tape deck was part of a complete line of Hi-Fi products from Telefunken, all finished in the same metal-plastic design. It was an economy version of the more sophisticated M 3000 HiFi. Savings had been made by using a single motor instead of two and two heads instead of three.
As to be expected, specifications were slightly lower than the M3000. Like many European Hi-Fi items of the 70s this one used DIN plugs for everything – even for the headphones.
