Additional Details

Description

The M291 Hi-Fi was a three-speed, quarter-track stereo tape recorder/hi-fi system with 15 watt per channel amplifiers and a pair of matching speakers. The speakers folded back to form a lid for transportation.
Other features included separate treble and bass controls for each channel, twin VU meters, multi-play head function switch and a 7″ reel capacity.
There is no evidence to suggest that the M291 Hi-Fi was ever sold in America or the UK.
