Description
The Magnetophon 443 Hi-Fi was a quarter-track stereo machine with three speeds and a 10 watt per channel power output. No speakers were provided, however Telefunken did offer a range to choose from as an optional extra.
Features included 7″ reel capacity, sliding fader-style volume and tone controls, vertical or horizontal operation, perspex cover, multi-play track function knob for mono, stereo, sound-on-sound etc.
As far as we know, this machine was not exported to the UK or the USA so we don’t have very much information to go on apart from the specifications below.
