Description

This was a two speed (3¾ & 1 7/8 ips) quarter-track stereo recorder with a maximum spool size of 7″.
Only a mono amplifier and single 5 x 3″ elliptical speaker were provided for playback, however stereo playback was possible from the preamplifier outputs. Stereo multiplex recordings could be made. A ‘De Luxe’ version came with a decorative wooden case and a TD20 omni directional microphone, otherwise identical to the M203.
An Automatic version with auto record level and speeds of 7½ & 3¾ ips was also available a year later.
