Additional Details

Description

The Truvox PD 202 and 204 were superb machines, extremely well designed and constructed. A fully solid-state stereo tape deck, available in either half or quarter-track versions (PD202 or 204), the series 200 decks had three speeds, three motors, three heads and separate record/playback amplifiers.
The heads were suspended from a bridge piece rather than screwed to the deck, making it easier for alignment. This was common practice for high quality recorder manufacturers like Revox.
