Additional Details

Description

The Truvox Series 50 was a single-motor hi-fi tape recorder with a 5-watt RMS output and two 7 x 4″ front mounted speakers. Layout was neat and tidy with microphone input and microphone/gram mixer control to the left of the main keyboard and replay tone and volume controls to the right. Above the volume control was the three-digit tape counter and upper/lower track selectors above the tone control.
The Series 50 was available as a half-track (52) or quarter track (54). Price when new (in the UK) was £150
Unfortunately the recorder did not sell well and Truvox ceased tape recorder production soon after its release.
