Description

An affordable recorder with a lot of features only found on much more expensive machines. Separate record and playback amplifiers and a three head system enabled “off-the-tape” monitoring whilst recording.
Two tape speeds were provided. 7½ & 3¾ ips and five tubes
were used, plus a magic eye level indicator.
In addition to these features,a three motor drive was employed and the unIt had a 7 x 4 inch hi-flux speaker plus an output for an external speaker. An output was also provided with C.C.I.R. correction for feeding into a high quality external amplifier.
All this for the budget price of £47. 50 Sterling.
