1954 – Beocord 507 K First B&o tape recorder 1955– A post war factory was built, producing radios, radiograms and television sets 1957 The industrial designer, Ib Fabiansen joined the company, bringing distinctive and modern looking products to B&O 1962– Started manufacturing stereo reel to reel recorders 1966– Bang & Olfuson Introduced the Beocord 1000 R-R as part of a budget line of products 1967 -The Beocord 1100 replaced the Beocord 1000. It was a budget model that played stereo with monitoring in mono. The Beocord 2400 was also introduced 1968– The Beocord 1800 model was introduced with a mixer and overdubbing capabilities. 1969– The Beocord 1200, the Beocord 1600 and the Beocord 2400 in production. 1970– The Beocord 1600 Type 4205 was produced. This was the last reel to reel model made by Bang & Olufsen 1980’s– Bang and Olufsen produced a cassette deck and also named it the Beocord 1600
