Description
This 1957 Magnecord featured a recorder (the same deck as the S36-B) and an 8-watt power amplifier built into a composite carrying case.
Two models were offered, the N35-B with a 4-pole motor and the NS35-B with a hysteresis synchronous motor. Apart from this distinction, the models were identical.
Features included two tape speeds (7½ & 3¾ ips – selected by capstan change), phone jack on front panel for monitoring, high-impedance microphone input, high and low impedance outputs for feeding external systems, printed circuit recording amplifier, 6 x 9-inch speaker and illuminated VU meter.
