Description
In 1959 Trix produced a new version of its recorder, but like its predecessor, there was no model designation. it was still simply known as the “Phonotrix “. Produced mainly for export, the machine was marketed in some countries as the Clarion Transitape. The recorder now had a built-in speaker on the right-hand side, and the volume control was relocated above the speaker grill.
