Description
This was a three-speed professional
half-track mono battery portable recorder especially designed for interviewers
and researchers. According to Grundig’s 1972 brochure, all components
used were of the highest quality.
The solid die cast frame made it extremely robust and Grundig claimed
that the TK 3200 could operate between temperatures of minus 20 degrees
C to minus 55 degrees C.
Features included two separate auto record level circuits (with manual
override) for speech and music, operation from either internal batteries,
re-chargeable accumulators or mains, battery level meter and illuminated
record level meter.
