Description

The Analog High Fidelity DB1, a solid-state tape head preamplifier, is designed by David Berning. DB is a tape enthusiast and a perfectionist in his electronic designs. The 6 EQ settings available on this preamp are as accurate as you can get.  With 3 individually adjustable input gain stages, this tape head pre can serve discerning tape enthusiasts with multiple tape recorders.
When coupled with a good stable R-R transport, the DB1 can reveal that there is a whole new layer of hidden, sonic complexity and detail available on your tapes, whether you play the older pre-record tapes or the new generation 15 IPS ones.

If you want to up your game and get significantly better sound out of your tape recorder, this preamplifier will not disappoint.
