Description

The TP-60R was a tiny recorder with two heads and a 2½ spool capacity. The machine was reel-driven with an average speed of about 3¾ ips, however this would vary greatly from start to finish of each reel of tape as the diameter of the driving reel would increase in diameter by the tape being taken up.
Controls were simple. PLAY/STOP/REWIND plus a record button and a volume control. Sockets were provided for mic, earphone & remote.
Dimensions were 5.8 x 3.8 x (147 x 97 54mm) and the recorder weighed just 1.43 lbs (650 grams) with batteries.
