A four-speed, quarter-track stereo mains/battery recorder with a 5″ spool capability and the Akai Crossfield head system. The X-IV had an audio output of 2 watts per channel and a single internal 5-inch elliptical speaker.
This unit was sold in the USA as the Roberts 6000.
