Description

Stuart Blacklock from the UK has a large tape recorder collection and this oddity belongs
to him.  We don’t know much about it so if anyone has any light to shed on this rather mysterious machine we’d love to hear from you.
Stuart writes….
“…This one may have been built between 1955 and 1960.
It is a domestic recorder using its own deck design but the heads are “Wearite”.
The valves seem to be ECC82’s, (the original text on the valves is no longer visible).
It has a similar operation to a Ferrograph “Wearite” deck, the left hand control selects the rewind, wind, play and record functions whilst the small red lever on the head block activates the operation.
