Description
A three-head, quarter-track stereo tape deck with three motors (one 2-speed 4-pole/8-pole hysteresis synchronous capstan drive and two 6-pole induction reel motors). Reels up to 7″ could be accommodated and transport operation was via electronic solenoid push-button controls.
Features included automatic tape lifters. automatic shut-off. echo and sound-on-sound. tape selector switch for different types of tape and tape/source monitor switch. This was a moderatel-priced machine, retailing at $399.95.
